I love snow. With temperatures in the 50's I don't see any in the near future, so we created our own snow.

Turkey Time
Another Thanksgiving's come and gone. They seem to be coming and going faster and faster every year. We were again blessed to have so much family join us. Even though we live in the same town, I just don't see enough of my sisters and their families.

This year my dad and Rhonda were able to join us. Having them is always so much fun.

Pie Time!! My favorite time!! With pumpkin, apple, cherry pies and pumpkin cheesecake I had to have a sliver of each.
The weather couldn't have been better.

Color Me Rad and 11 More Years
We've celebrated our 11th "family anniversary" this month. Eleven years ago our family was sealed in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. It's been fun celebrating this special day as a family. This year it just happened that the Color Me Rad run was in St. George on our anniversary. What better way to celebrate than running/walking 3.2 miles, getting blasted with color, and having great fun with the ones you love and look forward to spending eternity with?

The kids were all excited and missing school made it all the better.
Is she trying to stay warm, or is she excited? |
St. George was the perfect temperature all week, until the day we got there. The morning of the race it was COLD!! I was wishing for warmer clothes for sure.
This is us before..

Miki and Jill held onto the blanket for as long as they possibly could.
They started people in about 6 minute increments, but while we waited it was not boring. We were colored before we ever made it to the first color station.

And we're off!!

At one point in the run we lost Sam and Jill. But the camera people found them. Once we spotted them they were a dirt patch away from us. So, we cut the corner just a tad and caught up to them.
And we'd finally made it!! All of the kids did so good. It was cold, windy, and in those conditions 3 miles can seem very long. The finish line was a welcome sight.

We were all covered from head to ankle, inside of our ears, and even up our noses.
But it really was RAD!!

Once the girls were warm inside the truck again, they all wanted to run another color run... when it's warm.
There were 5000+ people there, and the traffic was crazy! It took awhile to get out of there, but our view of St. George was great.
After cleaning up we picked up Troy from his daycare and went to Kamill's house were we visited, and the kids played.

Allie had changed so much from the last time we'd seen her. Not too much longer and she'll be right there with the rest of the kids.

All Hallows Eve
With the Jacks all carved we are ready for Halloween...
This years costumes were "go through the box and see what you can come up with." From the start Miki was a "Hippie Pirate Cat".
Jill went back and forth between about 3 different costumes. By the time the night arrived she'd settled on the Mad Hatter costume. Only she's a girl, so she was "the Mad Hatters sister".
Sam had plans with her friends for the night, but they didn't include dressing up. She was kind enough to take her sister's trick-or-treating for a little bit before venturing out for the evening.
