Going in to use the bathroom I found it already occupied. I'm used to seeing Mushu drink from the toilets, but this is a new twist- and she wasn't in any hurry to leave. Being raised by humans and trained by dogs... some odd behavior is expected.

State Drill
It's that time of year again... state drill competition! The categories this year were:
Military
Dance
Kick
They did their best, but still didn't manage to place in the top three. It's a tough competition, and I'm so proud of them. About a third of the way through their kick routine the music stopped. It was dead silent for just a spilt second, then all of the sudden the only thing you could hear was the team counting. They counted their way through the rest of the routine and left the floor with a standing ovation. The crowd was so supportive and cheered them all the way through it. With tears streaming down their faces, they were allowed to come back on the court and do it again with their music. My first thought was how tired those poor girls had to be. About six minutes straight of a kick routine would be enough to kick my butt. All in all Sam had fun and that's all that matters.
During our travels up North we always watch for the "cloud maker". Ever since our girls were small they've all been led astray into thinking that this plant is an actual cloud maker and that's where Utah gets it's clouds. I'm just carrying on tradition of what I learned growing up. Of course they eventually figure out the truth, I hope, but it's always fun to watch for. During our trip I heard a rumor that the cloud maker will be no more, thus the need for a picture.
